    Pretty cool i guess, kinda difficult to play though.

    Truely same but id rather have the three buttons all on the disc though beatmania controller has all buttons on one side.

    It's not too similar to Beatmania. Beatmania is all about playing the song by playing the melody and beat on a piano. This is more about actual DJ'ing. The two outer lanes, for example, are scratch lanes. You hold the button and the circles indicate how many times to scratch (and in expert mode they are arrows indicating which direction to scratch). The middle lane plays samples like the whistle. And as this is happening the lanes are bending for the cross fader. You are genuinely mixing two songs together, sampling, scratching, adding effects... doing what an electronic DJ would do. Beatmania is just like guitar hero without a strummer and a more diverse sample instrument set.
