I saw a bunch of people with thier naked ipods sitting on thier docks that they built, and when i tried, i realized that i would have to take it out of its case everytime i wanted to charge it. so i made my own, and not only does it charge, but it connects an audio line to the side so i can attach speackers, earphones, etc. and the cord for the usb isn't just hanging around, its slightly protruding to allow easy carrying without a dangling cord.

it works wonderfully and i hope you like it.

Here you can see the whole thing with the usb sticking out, along with the audio in on the top.

here you can see the Usb and the audio out jack on the side for easy access

here is the iPod with it's case sitting on the dock upright, no universal dock adapter holding it.

hey. thats not what i used. thats a naked ipod, my ipod wouldn't fit on that. also that one has the usb cord sticking out,so yo uhave to drag it along. mine is inside. and on top of that. that one doesn't allow for and audio jack. mine does. read my first post. i already said all of this
