Is there an app available on cydia that can play divx/avi format file with an acceptable quality? I've tried some which claimed to be able to do it but none of them work.

I had an ipt2g when I tried, now I have an ipt3g. can someone help me, some say that its a hardware issue.

    pity to hear that.
Dude I have the same 2G iPod touch 8GB as you, but on iOS4
this is the AVI file that ipod plays without any lags:
    Video: XVID 624x352 25.00fps [Stream 00]
Audio: MPEG Audio Layer 3 48000Hz stereo 128Kbps [Stream 01]
I prefer to copy via WinSCP and watch via yxflash, converting takes really a lot of time.
