Here's a picture......
Anyone else experience this?
thats because its plugged in, it will always have that if its plugged in.
Usually it show a lighting bolt in top right corner when charging. When it is fully charged it will show the symbol I posted in the top right corner.
No, it doesnt have a "charging" image, it has a "fully charged" Image. It happened to me when I tried to use a non-apple charger. See if it has that problem when charging from the PC.
It is plugged into an apple desktop.
Is it plugged in with an official apple cable?
That happens to me once in awhile. I just unplug-replug until it shows the lightning bolt. I don't think it's a real problem though.
Yes I wouldn't waste time or money on anything else besides apple.
I'm betting money that your using an external battery (or this is some kind of winter board prank). I have the same icon
this happens to my ipod touch all the time. it happened when i bought an apple charger adapter. i think that it was because i didnt buy it directly from apple, it was from amazon.com. the thing is that it happened for about a couple of months then later on it didnt do it as much. when it happens to me i just unplug and replug back in. it also happens when i restore my ipod touch it has the fully charged icon when it is not even charged up. i think i will be bring it to apple in a few months and see if anything changes.
