    Hey all,

I know others have had trouble with this. And I definitely did some research. I'm just wondering if there are any alternatives to my solution.

Here is a brief rundown of the situation.

I have some MP3s that have chinese characters. The file names show up perfectly fine in Finder. However, once I add the files to my library, the ID3 tags don't show up properly. I've tried a combination of ID3 tag settings and converting to unicode (or the other settings) but no luck.

I did come across a program called "ID3Mod2"

For the most part, that app has worked flawlessly. However, I'm still in my trial period. I'm hoping to find a free alternative in the long run.

    Any ideas?

    iTunes 8.1.1
