Disk space limited on 1.1.4

    Is it ok just use boos tool to create symlinks for firmware 1.1.4?

    BUT isn't there is a mobile directory.?...just asking..

    Yes, use BossTool to move fonts,ringtones and apps so you will have room for all your goodies!

    movin the apps doesnt really work but fonts and ringtones work

    last time i moved all my apps...

    then all my app on the springboard disappeared

    i have to install all of them again....

    and i SSHed and found out the app folder is moved into /private/var/root...
    but all the stuff is now in /private/var/mobile...sth sth sth..
    so this time i am only move the fonts and ring tone which i have none..cause it is a ipod tocuh...

    You should do it before you add all the apps right after you jailbreak it next time

    what would happen if you touch the move ringtones button, what would it do on the touch. since it has no ringtones? would it create more space on the partition?

    Nah....Boss tool just says it is moved,,,but you still have the same amount of space..

    Yes, but you need to move the apps anyways, since it doesn't limit the space anymore on your first partition. It creates a symlink, so you download apps to the media partition of your iPod, not the operating system partition.
