I don't mean to go even more off topic, but iOS does the same damn thing. How do you think notification center works? Do you think Facebook and twitter feeds are magically fetched without using any battery life? Or how about any notifications in Apps. Magic?

I only played with iOS 6 beta 1 for a few minutes, but it seems a lot buggier than iOS 5 beta 1 was.

Notification Center isn't active as much as a home screen is. :|

It can be. It depends on notification center and the home screen. If you have notification center checking your twitter/facebook/email every 15 minutes you're going to have an issue. If you have a home screen with facebook/twitter feeds updating every 15 minutes you'll have the same issue. It goes both ways.

Saying widgets are worthless because they consume battery life is stupid. On newer phones you can get a days usage of battery and they don't slow down your phone. Of course, that depends on the widget.

Is it me or is the $200 upgrade from 8-16GB of RAM in the retina macbook pro very unusual? Normally they'd charge at least $400-$500.

I'm sure then you won't be disappointed with iOS 7.

Then again I could be wrong.

I was pretty impressed with the beta. They made a few UI changes which I didn't honestly think they would.

iOS 6 was totally disappointing, the new MacBook Pro almost had me until I was told it had an Intergrated GPU, which has always been hell on earth for me. Everything else about it is nice but it's not good for aming as far as I'm concerned.

They flattened colors and brought it close to iPad. I'm still waiting on an actual UI Refresh.
