    Hi,

I'm running quickpwned 2.1 and want to ask if and how it's possible to disable syslogd. The reason I want to do this is conserving as much RAM as possible on the device and I don't need logging at all. Is it a safe thing to do?

Are there other daemons we can safely disable without breaking stuff?

    Thanks in advance,
    Frank

    PS: I build a BossPrefs-Toggle for MxT2d (MxTube) already. I don't use winterboard, I know it's a memory hog.

    Hey,

Could you share your BossPrefs toggle for MxT2d?
Have you noticed any change in performance?
    What does the daemon do?

    Thank you.
