Is there anyway to disable safari from going to the mobile (aka toned down version) of websites?
not that i know of. for facebook i know that if you type in facebook.com it will go to iphone.facebook.com but if you type facebook.com/home.php it will go to the normal one.
Some sites, such as Meebo, won't allow you to becuase of the lack of certain features on the iPod (Such as and "Enter" button, lack of being able to handle popups, etc)
1) iPods DO have an Enter button.
2) iPods CAN handle pop-ups.
Any other lies?
No, it has a return button.
Meebo has in-window (but still connected) pop-ups that are movable from the browser, something that the iPod cannot handle.
i still remember reading somewhere that you could disable the browser so that servers won't think you are running from an iPod Touch and using a mobile browser....
anyone else know?
Separate names with a comma.
