I recently jailbroke my touch. I heard about some "emulators" and wanted to try it out. In WinSCP and Fugu (Mac) the directory "/private/var/root/Media" does not exist...what does this mean? I can't see the iTunes control or anything!

EDIT: There is a directory "/private/var/mobile/Media" with the itunes_control (music stored) and everything. This is normal right?

Yeah. You're on 1.1.3, so they got rid of root. Your username is mobile now. You just need to set permissions to 755, that's all.

I'm on 1.1.4 but now I have to set the emulators to check this directory and not the other one

    Don't get rid of root?!
TTR and Emulators read from the directory root.

    I know

But I don't have a Media directory in the root folder. The only thing there is Library. Should I just create a Media/ROMs subdirectory?
