What are the physical differences between the new iphone 3g and the old iphone. Should i buy an old iphone because the contract is too expensive? and also what other things were released in WWDC2008 except the iphone 3g? Also what is 3G?

personally i think the old iphone looked better. The plastic back is crappy but at least the headphone jack is flush and the buttons are metal

    1. There are metal buttons, a black/white plastic backing.
    2. If you're okay with having slower data speeds, and a cheaper plan, the iPhone is the better alternative.
    3. 3G surpasses 2G. 3G is a network, providing faster data speeds in comparison to 2G.
