    Okay,

Basically, I don't understand what's the difference between DFU mode and recovery mode. Also, what are they used for? I know it has something to do with restore, tethered jailbreak etc., but I'm kinda confused about it

Also, what's the difference between Rock, Icy and Cydia?

    Thanks.

    Hi.

    Does this help?

AFAIK, ICY, Rock an Cydia are all used to get hold of jailbroken apps. I think ICY used to be really popular, but now Cydia is the one most people use. Rock has a lot of "Pay for" jail broken apps.

    Hope that helps.

In my eyes, I would rather someone know what it is, and use the names correctly, then act like a noob.
