So my question is that -- whats the difference between quickpwn and quickfreedom when jailbreaking?
QuickPwn uses a ramdisk and not only flashes the NOR, but also installs bundles into the file system and makes other modifications.
I don't know what QuickFreedom does, but I assume it uses a NOR-only ramdisk, which just flashes the NOR, it doesn't add Cydia or anything.
Im not sure what the difference is
You've got it completely wrong, its doesn't flash nor, it doesn't even have an option for that, and it does install cydia, and it has an option to install installer
QuickFreedom is also illegal because it distributes Apple code and doesn't obtain it on it's own from the end user.
Wait, you don't know what the difference is between the two but you're telling me I'm wrong?
Sorry that I don't even own a 2G, and even if I did, I wouldn't use a GUI because they aren't flexible enough.
dies a quickpwn delete all of the data already on the ipod
QuickPwn doesn't exist for the 2G yet, but when it does, it will not delete any data.
quickfreedom does install both cydia and installer even thou only installer option is there in the gui version!
