Difference between iPod Touch 2G & 3G

    Hi! please tell me the difference between iPod Touch 2G & 3G is 3G available in 8GB also?. Specially tell me the processor difference.

    the new processors, basically the same ones in the iphone 3gs are only in the new 32GB and 64GB, wheres the new 8GB ipod touch is just a cheaper 2g

    yep ppl get confused cos they think the 8GB is the new iPod Touch, it's the same 2G but at a cheaper price, I can't believe they slashed the 16GB model, not too big not too small, perfect for me.

    It's apple's evil plan to get people to invest in the 32 or 64GB. Narrowing down the smaller-mid range options to make people pay top dollar for the 32/64gb's. But then again, the price of the 16GB for the 2nd gen is now the same price as the 32GB 3rd gen, which makes it worth it imo.

    2G is 620 MHZ, 128 MB Ram. 3G is 833 MHZ, 256 MB Ram. Support for Open GL|ES 2.0, which apparently renders 3D much better. Also voice control, but who cares?

    the 2g is clocked at 533 i think, not 620. Also the 3G is under clocked to 600 from like 800. Its a more efficient processor. Even if it was at 533 it would still be faster.
