Did i screw up my pod!? Help!

    Hey guys sry to bug you guys but i looked through the forums and i can't find the answer to my problem.
    This is what happened. I haad a jailbroken ipod on some really oldschool firmware and today i thought, wow i might aswell update this using the itunes thing so i click on update and it went through the whole thing and reset my ipod so it wasn't jailbroken anymore, which i was okay with but now it wont synce at all and i have no music on it! everytime i tap the music thing it just opens and closes, i've tried resetting my ipod and everything tehre isn't even an ipod icone in itunes anymore! what do i do!?

    put it in DFU mode and restore

    restore dude it will fix all of your problems

    i tried restoring it and nothing happened... and how do i DFU mode
