Do you think it was right for geohot to release limera1n?

Personally, I understand probably why this exploit is better for now then SHAtter. Think about it. If SHAtter is saved for 5th gen devices, that means that it will jailbreak twice as many A4 devices. Limera1n being released now means that the JB will work on all iDevices, not just A4.

But geohot is kind of an a**hole.

IMO, yes, he did. Shatter shoulve been saved once the announcement of limera1n was announced in the first place to benefit more of the community.

It doesn't even work on 2nd gen MC. I thought limera1n was for everyone, that's why people supported it. Screw Geohot.

i cant believe he wasted an exploit so blatantly, now even if they due release greenpoisin in the future they will have to work to make it untethered because they trusted this douche. I hate you, and i know he won't read this but my god. Could you please not act like you are some religious element (trying not to bring religion into this) reincarnated.

OK, now that I've been a major j@ck@$$ my answer is no he shouldn't have done it and please don't ban me

No, it was pretty bad of him to do that and he also stole comex's untethered patch from what I can tell. He has really changed since he first started.

But, what do I care? He jailbroke my 4.1 iPod touch, which is a lot more than greenpois0n could do for me (e.g. nothing).

I just hope now that the Chronic Dev team do what Geohot wants and don't release. I don't agree with Geohot's methods, at least not entirely, but there's nothing that can be done about it so best not to start releasing Greenp0ison as well just to show Geohot he's not the boss of them.

EgoHot is just an egocentric piece of sh*t. I can't believe he gave a sh*t on comex (which really has my sympathy) and just decided to release his crappy jailbreak. Definitely: HE HAS DONE THE WRONG THING!
