Did Apple have this up their sleeves the whole time?

Okay, this is probably going to seem pretty far fetched, but I just thought of it and it is a kind of reasonable thought.

    • Apple had the hardware and abilities for an 32GB iPhone at the beginning when the iPhone first came out.
    • Apple had the designs already thought up, just wanted to keep one for another generation.

Now, the reason I say this and the reason why they would do this is because of money. Why put the BEST hardware in the iPhone so theres no fresh hardware coming for awhile. They could just keep upgrading slightly in future generations to ploy people into buying the new one because its better and faster, when really, they should have put the best hardware in first.

This is pretty far fetched but is quite reasonable.

Well, this is marketing unfortunately. Not just Apple, yet Apple tends to do a lot of this marketing.

I mean, put yourself in Steve Job's shoes. If you were making millions off dollars of a product no one else can offer (plus you are also a vampire), would you stop and care about your customers rather than make millions of dollars?

I would take the money, but then again, maybe a nicer person could have a different outcome...

    Simple business lesson.

Companies want money, money can be made the easy way, or the hard way. Easy way, is used 99% of the time, because it brings in the money, and companies want money.
