DFU successful?

    i just did a DFU restore (i think) and i want to see if there is any jailbreak data left on my device so how do i do this? also is it a DFU restore if you see the connect to itunes thing??? thanks

    If you see connect to iTunes it is NOT in DFU. When in DFU the screen will be blank as if it were off.

    If you've restored (and not from backup) your iPod should be as the factory sent it, without jailbreak data. You didn't go into dfu mode though, you were in restore mode. DFU mode looks like the iPod is off, it shows a completely black screen

    DFU is always successful.
