So, I am attempting to JB my touch 2g. I booted the costom firmware just fine, to see cydia not there. I needed to restore.

I rebooted the Ipod, and made sure it was in DFU mode. I did the iBSS command, and tried to restore the ipod.
Well iTunes has been saying: Preparing iPod for restore for 10 minutes, and the ipod does not leave the "Silver Apple" boot screen.

    Ehm...

It could be a problem with your firmware i tried the orginial fw which worked fine so it must be my custom fw

I have original firmware downloaded, and JB firmware, when I try to restore to the Original FW I downloaded, it does not work.

When I go into DFU without inputting any of the commands, I get a message from itunes that says:

Software for this iPod is not currently available, Make sure you have the latest version of itunes and try again.

When I input the iBSS command, The message goes away, but I still cannot restore.

If Cydia doesn't install for you (it didn't for me the first time), instead of just copying over the CustomPackages folder, open it up and view the contents of CydiaInstaller.bundle (do this for the folder in PwnageTool.app and the folder in rslite). You will notice that the rslite bundle only has the Info.plist file inside it. Copy that over to the PwnageTool bundle and Cydia will install fine.

I can't restore to do that though. I can't even reboot my JB.

Why would you bump a 3 month old thread?
And you didn't even use a complete sentence...
