    Hello,

How do I tell if I need to do the 10.5.6 USB fix described in the rslite readme? I have 10.5.6, but in getting my hackintosh running, I have many older kexts; not sure if my IOUSBfamily is one of them.

Is there a way to tell if I need to do that fix?

Also, if I need to, can I just leave the 10.5.5 one on? I don't want to have to switch out USB drivers everytime I need to reboot it...

using 1.5.5 kext on 10.5.6 makes my all of my macs kernel panic once a usb storage device is plugged in. Example: Flash drive/external drive.

I can DFU boot mine on my MacBook in my Sig. It's weird as I know it should't work as I have never done that patch/fix thing.

Old thread, not sure if anyone cares, but I did a fresh install of iDeneb 10.5.6, and the DFU mode worked fine without any workarounds...

So anyone with a Hackintosh is probably good to go...

Lol, yeah, I don't see the point of bumping a month old thread...
If people needed help, they'd probably just make their own thread...
