I had my phone 3.1.2 jailbroken but after trying to reset my network settings I got an Apple logo loop, so I just went and restored it without checking to see if it could be fixed. Now I have 3.1.3 and want to check my bootrom to see if I can jailbreak again. The third, fourth, and fifth serial numbers are 932, but I want to make sure. I'm just wondering, with a name like DFU (I've never used this mode before, only Recovery), will it force me to upgrade to 4.0 since it's been officially released? Or should I not even bother and just wait until 4.0 jailbreaks for the 3G S roll around?

3G S 3.1.3. I thought you had to have the old bootrom for Spirit to work. And I installed iTunes 9.2 but then downgraded to 9.1.1. Is it still safe if I were to use Spirit?

I think so, but if I were you I would google it or something.

Make sure you don't have iTunes 9.2, though.

Also, Spirit works with all models, including the new bootroom.
