Hello everyone! I just have a quick question about Cydia SHSH Files.

    I have an Ipod Touch 3G 32GB 4.0 Jailbroken with Sn0wBreeze 1.7
I backed up my SHSH Files using Tiny Umbrella.
Now when I open up Cydia it says:
This device has SHSHs on file for "iPhone OS" 3.1.2, 3.1.3, 4.0
But I have an Ipod Touch not an iPhone? Is it some kind of bug in Cydia or did I basicly just save the wrong SHSH Files?

Because when I check in my .shsh folder it says: (numbers)-ipt-3g-3.1.2 and same thing for 3.1.3, 4.0

    Regards Anton!

iPhone OS is/was the name of the OS on all iDevices.

Now it's usually referred to as iOS.

I have another question regarding SHSH Files...
If, let's say I would like to restore to a previous firmware, like 3.1.2 from 4.0, and I have my SHSH File for 3.1.2. Where do I put this SHSH-File Created by Tiny Umbrella.
Do I put it in Apple folder, or just keep it on my desktop? ^^,

    Regards Anton~
