I am attempting to develop a Cydia and Blackra1n .ipa file that can sync with iPod/iPhone/iPad devices regardless of firmware. If someone could send me the blackra1n.app file (find it in the Applications file on your iDevice) through email, it would greatly help me. Please PM me if possible. Thanks.

    Why?

Once again, just because you install the application, doesn't mean you have root access to the device.

I am EXPERIMENTING with it. I hope I can get it to work, but I don't know yet. Like I said, I need the blackra1n.app file to help develop it.

And as to your "Why?", I am doing this because many iOS 4 devices cannot be jailbroken, IN CASE YOU HAVENT NOTICED!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So you are trying to build/break/open an exploit based on application install? Not going to work.

Yeah, but you just can't install any .ipa file. Most likely your device won't even accept it, and if it does, it'll have no root acces, which means that it's pretty useless. Like your try.

The file on the iDevice (the file that can be found with iFile or through SSH).

You know just because of the blackra1n app dosent mean you have a jailbroken device, cause you NEED a jailbroken device to get the Blackra1n app on your device. No root accsess (jailbreak) means you cant install / sync "custom" .ipa's

So there is actually nothing you can learn or develope...

Just telling you now: this won't work. No matter what you do, it won't work.
