    Hello everyone,

I'm interested in writing an ipod touch application for use just on my own ipod. I have a 2nd gen ipod touch. I don't want to market it or anything, so I don't want to wait for an Apple person to "ok" my app. Also, my only computer is currently running Windows 7, so I can't use the official SDK from Apple. What are my options, if any? Does jailbreaking change anything?

I'm fairly familiar with programming in general and have some experience in C, so I figure objective-C is only a little bit of reading away.

    Thanks for the help.

DragonFireSDK is what I am using right now. It is pretty good, easy to learn. It runs in C++ I believe, and your application is outputted into an exe file. You then send them the debug folder and your source code and they will convert it into a .app.
