As the iPad runs all iPhone/iPod Touch apps, are our apps going to be stretched and pixelated?

If so, where does this leave all of us developers? Are our apps screwed without a lot of work updating them? How will they work on the much larger screen?

Does anyone have info on this?

They're gonna be stretched. But I believe this will only be temporary until more developers develop more apps that's actually for the iPad.

I'm wondering if the new SDK will allow scaling down for the iPhone - IE, an app STARTS at the size for the iPad, then images and text are scaled down when installed on the iPhone/IPT.

If they implement something like that, it would make it a lot easier for developers, and could potentially jumpstart development for the iPad.

I don't think that would be good. The iPad screen is a lot bigger and if everything is scaled down for iPod Touch/iPhone screen size, everything will be tiny. They will need to reorganize the whole layout of the app just so we can use it properly. Kind of like the mobile versions of websites, it's basically a whole different layout.

yeah that would kinda suck, and it would be impractical as the game would be in the middle of the screen
