iNetCable Semi Non-WiFi Tutorial [Windows Only]
    -------------------------------------------------------------------------
    (by: dim3000)

    1) INFO
This will allow you to use internet through the USB provided you have a WiFi connection to initiate it.
But you don't need the WiFi password so you could use a locked one

Please Register or Log in to view images

    2) REQUIREMENTS

    - iPod Touch 1G/2G (see me if you want this on an iPhone)
    - USB utilities pack*
    - CCProxy*
    - iPod USB Cable
    - WiFi (just to start connection)
    - SSH (search for it in Cydia)

    * - Get from the download link (listed above)

    3) SETUP

    - Install CCProxy (self-explained).
    - Open it and click Options, Advanced, Networks tab, and uncheck "Disable External Users" (then click OK and OK again):

Please Register or Log in to view images

    - Start the proxy if it isn't already started (Click Start on main proxy window)
    - Plug in your iPod and make sure you started up SSH
    - Extract USB utilities and open the folder inside (Don't try to run form within archive, it won't work)
    - First click on "1_start_tunnel.cmd" (A black window should open, make sure you don't close it throughout your session)
Note: If a Windows Firewall dialog pops up, click on "Unblock"
    - Then click on "proxy_tunnel.cmd". Type in your SSH password (Default: alpine).
It may also ask you a question, just press "y" and then enter and it will countinue.
(Same as above, don't close the window!)
    - On the iPod open Settings. Press Wi-Fi and turn it on. Find the network you want to use and click the little arrow to go to the Options.
    - Scroll down and under HTTP Proxy select Manual, type in 127.0.0.1 as the server and 808 as the port. Leave Authentication OFF:

    - Go back to Wi-Fi Netwoks, click on the network this time and if it is locked type in any letters.
Note: If you get the following screen that means you did something wrong or the connection is weak so just click again or try to catch it better.

    - If after you typed in the password it didn't care you are done! Just wait for the WiFi logo to appear and start browsing.
Note: Even though you can lose the WiFi connection and it won't be used, you still must have WiFi (ON) throughout your session.
    - Happy Surfing And Wait for the Full Thing!

I'll happily be a beta tester and join the team, and put my iPod up as a test for any software that comes out. I don't know how to program but I'll join and help you with anything I can!

@iCrap: LOL, yeah it was a oh-sh*t-I-still-don't-have-a-name type of thing.

@fastfreddy101: Ok, but beta testers will come later when we have developed something.

    Anytime. ;D
If you tell me how you got it working on the iPhone, and how to do certain ground or base steps, I can maybe toy around to build up on something. ;D

Um, this could be done already...you just mess with some settings if you have a wifi adapter and your computer will turn into a router...
