I've looked at the forums, and I am in definite need of help now.
I got an iPod Touch literally 2 days ago and its already dead.
I attempted a jailbreak from this youtube site:
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HFEk_nt4ZtM&feature=channel_page

I copied all the steps (computer is Windows XP btw), but at the second DFU my iPod just totally died. Before I did it, the battery was at like 98%, I did everything right.

Now, my iPod is dead. Wont read off the computer, wont turn on, wont reset, wont go into DFU mode.
I've tried to do the 1 click boot, plug it into my wall charger and hold the home+hold button, then even hold the home button and release the hold button, virtually everything in this forum.
    NOTHING WORKS>

    Please Help!!! THanks in advance.

Try and download Voltage and boot it using that. Then jailbreak with the redsn0w .3 beta

Just be very exact with DFU mode timing.

    Then re-jailbreak with redsn0w 0.3

No you can always DFU. Its hardwired in.

Just be very exact with your timing. Get a stop watch or something.

    DFU and get redsn0w 0.3 from www.redsn0w.com

Hold down both for up to 10-15 Id say, then home itself for up to 30 secs.

Def not just 10 and 5.
