Desperate for some help about my 2nd gen JB!

    Hello, i need help please ! I try to JB my ipt2g (on mac) but i have a bug in the step 7 :

    do you have libusb installed? also make your picture viewable

    first do you have libusb? without it you wont be able to get the computer to connect with the ipods processor...which JB program are you using? i recommend using cyw00d's program (it's easiest) and are you using iRecovery? becaue it says that arm7/go error arm7/stop error [irecovery]

    Nope, he's just not using the 2.1.1 FIRMWARE iBSS, he's using 2.2.1 iBSS. The 2.2.1 has no arm7_go exploit.

    why does it say recovery? did you go into recovery modee?

    in Answer to your questions.

    first off i am using a Mac and no i dont have libusb installed please could someone give me a download link? ( i do have xcode )

    i cannot use cyw00d's program because i dont have Windows i do in a VM but i dont really want to do it like that

    and i am using terminal to do it and it automatitly puts it into recovery mode. i have also tried puting it in DFU mode that didnt work ethier.

    hmm all i can say is look at a JB tutorial, i dont own a mac and i will say that Windows JB seems the easiest..i didn't do it myself because i was afraid and then over the phone i helped my friend JB his and i didnt even know if i was doing it right....so dude use windows wherever it is
