I kinda like the youtube app. Sure it doesn't have much functionality but it's quick and it allows me to watch videos from people i'm subscribed to easily. The youtube website is way too slow, and it has ads. I hope we don't see that in the standalone app.

So far IOS 6 seems to be taking away more stuff than adding it! No point in me updating TBH, 1. Because My iPad isn't supported and 2. Because my 3GS will be exactly the same but slower and with no youtube app -_-

I always hated the YouTube app on iOS. It was very slow for me and when I wanted to view the latest videos from subscriptions I was limited to a certain amount of people and couldn't see them all. If the iOS version is anything like the Android version, then it will be a good app.

It could have at least search suggestions. That feature should have been a 100% must!

Hopefully the iOS YouTube will become more similar to the Android version.

It was ancient piece of junk compared to the android app.

I actually think this is a good move. The native iOS YouTube app was rubbish anyway. And I actually used SB Settings to hide that stupid icon so that I won't accidentally tap it.

I'm a little sad. The app was really nice for checking my subscriptions.
