Okay please vote and tell me what you think. Should I get the lowest iMac model or this Dell?

Yeah, and I can always run OS X in VMware or something.

How are you willing to spend?

I would go for the iMac unless you want to get into gaming.
The Dell may provid more power depending on which one you'd buy.

EDIT: Woops, didn't see the link.
If you're interested in gaming, get the Dell. If not, get the iMac.

The iMac CAN play games, but wouldn't be as quick or look as nice as the Dell (higher vid settings).

Build your own hackintosh with a newer Core i7 for less than both of them. Or just wait until Sandy Bridge comes out commercially.

I wouldn't get a Dell, I would get an HP instead.
Dell's are famous for being crappy and failing, plus Dell was caught selling faulty hardware.

No, sorry but I won't buy a HP. Every single one I've owned has failed on me, and Dell is fine.

There's a new link to a different one, I liked it better.

Why not get a mac and place Windows 7 on it via boot camp? Then you'll have the best of both worlds.

I had some Dell problems, but they pretty much bent over backwards to make sure they got fixed.
