Is it possible to delete songs from the iPod without using a computer?

There is, but it extremely hard since you do not know which songs are which. Go in mobilefinder and navigate to media/intunes_control/music and there will be folders like f00, f01, etc. Thats where your music is.

I wish we could delete songs like we can videos with a swipe to the right but we can't.

In theory, couldn't you create an app to read ID3tags and list them for deletion?

The thing is, is this really necessary? Yeah so we could delete them, but there's no real benefit for deleting songs while you're away from home.

That is a little harsh but yeah, this function would be useful.

I think maybe one of the reasons Apple didn't include this feature is because of the possible conlflicts it'd cause with iTunes autosync feature... I don't use it though, so this feature would be ace.
