Is there a way to uninstall/delete the pre-installed apps that come with the iPod Touch?

My 2G iPod Touch has been jailbroken, but I couldn't find a way to do this.
    Thanks in advance

Through SSH you could delete them possibly. Not quite sure if you can delete those ones though. But if you can, it would be through SSH.

    1. get mobilefinder from cydia
    2. navigate to /private/var/stash/Applications.xxXXXx
    3. select the app
    4. tap file>delete

    taadaa!!

    id suggest keeping them though.
you can keep them but still have them not show by changing the permissions with mobilefinder or using bossprefs/sbsettings to hide them.

poof is made by bigboss as are sbsettings and bossprefs.

    poof is included in both.

I did what you said here, the apps are deleted but the icons are still there on the menu screen.

    Any ideas?

Install SBSettings, BossPrefs, or Poof and hide them if you just want them off your springboard.
