i used ifile to find the default apps (mail, contacts, stocks, etc.) and i proceeded to delete them because i assumed it wouldnt affect the over all integrity of my device. after a little while, i changed a theme and had to respring as usual. of course, the changes to the default apps did not take effect until after i rebooted. but, instead of rebooting, i was stuck on the apple logo.

i will admit that i havent had a chance to use my ipod since then for other reasons, and i havent had the chance to connect it to my computer.

but the main question is, did me deleting the apps "kill" my ipod?
