So I was using iPhone Explorer, and the program froze up and somehow my applicationarchives folder was deleted. I rebooted my phone and it worked fine, except for he fact that all my pictures were gone, and pictures taken with the camera do not show up on the phone. is there anyway to recreate the folder without having to restore the OS? I'm running 3.1.2 (jailbroken) on a 1g iPhone.

you have to recreate the folder and set the permissions....i did that with the downloads folder and realized i had to set the permissions.

either download ifile (if you dont already have it) or get winscp and set the permission to 0775 or 0755 something
