If I delete it in order to replace my iPod, would I be able to restore or would it be bricked?
I'm asking because I read on another thread this is a sure way to get your iPod replaced and want to know if apple will restore it.

Edit: ignore as it placed an error message the first time and I created two thread

Deleteing the sbin folder will not work because Apple will be able to force restore it and then they will give your ipod back. I tried it. It did not work. Unless you get someone that is stupid at the Apple store, then you might get your iPod replaced.
