    Wireless network as in Wifi?

You'll be using Wifi and if you disconnect you'll be connected to 3G.

It will always prioritize wifi over 3G, although it will always remain connected to 3G

From experience, if you turn it off and back on, it will be connected to 3G instead of wifi. This may just be a issue with my device though, but it doesnt want to connect to wifi for me unless I go into settings and manually connect it to my router. Kind of annoying. I've gotten into the habit of turning off 3G when I'm at home so that it only uses wifi, and doesnt drain the battery.

If you're on 3.2.1, it'll always prioritize Wifi. If you're on 3.2, it won't reconnect back to Wifi after sleep if an alternate data source (3G) is detected.
