All forums members I have a question to ask of you. I've been here for a while and have seen a lot of people need help with their hardware and OSes, and most have them just posted in the OT. People post their computer problems all the time in the OT and it clutters everything up.

I realize we have topics for Mac OS X and Linux in sub-forums, but they really don't get much attention as other forums sections do.

So I would like to see if it would be possible to make a dedicated computer tech/ help section. Bgizzle/ Mods could possibly even go one step further and separate it based on OS, preferably just OS X, Linux and Windows. And then because of that people who are good with specific machines can help the specific problems in the threads?

I would like to see this implemented because it gives certain forum members a place to help more in. Cam seems to know a lot about Windows, Led is a certain one that comes to mind with knowing hardware, and I like to think that I could be a help to this service, as I'm starting towards my A+ Certification.

I've added a poll to see if you would say Yes or No to this.

Thank you all for taking the time to read this,
    Nburnes

When I first saw the thread, I thought no. But after thinking about it I've decided to say Yes. There have been a good amount of time's I've had problems with my computer and I've come here to get them answered. Specifically the Off-Topic section, Like you've already stated.

I would love to see this forum, Because unfortunately... I have many problems with my computer

Yes. I'd also like to take thie time to suggest a general development forum, maybe in the Science & Technology section of the OT?
