I was browsing through the contents of my iPod's files and I found a file called "debian", no extension, no filetype. I was wondering what it might be? I doubt that the iPod's firmware would be based on linux.

Note: It is compressed into a .zip file and added to the post. If anyone can tell me what it is, thanks.

EDIT: I am running a Jailbroken 2.2.1 iPod Touch 2G. Only firmware hack other than the Jailbreak was getting street view onto it. The file was in "/etc/dpkg/origins"

EDIT: Never mind, I found that it was just a txt file without a filetype for some reason. The contents were:

    Vendor: Debian
    Vendor-URL: http://www.debian.org/
    Bugs: debbugs://bugs.debian.org
