.deb theme files?

    was wondering, i found a ton of nice themes for winterboard here,

    [removed]

    but they are .deb files, i have looked in winterboard themes and they are folders, not .deb files.
    was wondering how to instrall them, i read somewhere but seemed way to complicated for a them.

    3rd gen itouch 32 gig on 3.1.2 FW.

    Download the .deb file, then SSH it into your iPod. Put it anywhere, but remember where you put it, and remember the name. We're going to pretend the name is 1.deb and you put it in / Now you would install Mobile Terminal in Cydia and do this,
    Code:
    su
    (you're asked for your password)
    dpkg -i /1.deb
    
    If the name was 2.deb you would put
    Code:
    dpkg -i /2.deb
    if you put it in /User/ you would do
    Code:
    dpkg -i /User/2.deb

    Or just extract it with file and move it to themes.

    Or you could just use iFile, locate the .deb, click on it then hit install. Little easier and faster than using terminal.

    Some of those Themes are lush!! Remember to search on cydia first , some are there (easier)

    will try tommorow, sorry but to busy to play these days.
    and THANx to everyone else who posted,,
    its nice to see it come full circle..
    (i help alot of peeps on other matters such as consoles.. ipods are new to me ) but so far i have played with more than my special 360. that says alot.


    i know its off topic, but is there a file file manager, as in cut and paste or similar? like wanting to find and move folders.. FOR EXAMPLE
    i tried this thing called *tunes, i found something but then i used insta**ous and its in the wrong DL folder for insta**ous.
