You could always just download it from Cydia.

    Never heard of Winterboard.deb

I know that the 3.0 OS beta is a .deb file. Don't lie or steal.

    If I'm not wrong:

SSH to your iPod and place it somewhere you can find it.
Be sure to have (Mobile)Terminal installed, and run the following code:
    Code:
    dpkg -i /path/to/WinterBoard.debdpkg

    lrn2unix, you idiot

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Deb_(file_format)

Put the deb on your iPod at /var/mobile, and then run terminal and type this:

    su

    alpine

    dpkg -i Winter*

    okay?

    Control yourself.
You don't need to be so mad.
Just relax and take it easy, and thanks a lot for the tips.

No. It's an ipsw. Don't post if you don't know what you are talking about.

Place it in /private/var/mobile then type

    su

    alpine

    dpkg -i /private/var/mobile/WinterBoard.deb

If you are using terminal and not mobile terminal all you need to do is the last one.
