I tried to jailbreak by jailbroken 1.1.2 using ijailbreakme

I had the most updated version of installer AND BSD subsystems

    I had jailbroken 1.1.2

and then at the finishing screen where it said it would restart, it never did after 20 minutes, So i manually restarted it, - as it says if it doesn't do anything after 10 minutes i should manually reboot the device

    So i did

AND NOW ITS STUCK on the apple screen, it just flashes and restarts every time

    PLEASE HELPP!!!

I really don't want to have to restore! That would be not so ideal... i have some stuff on my ipod that i don't want to delete as i dont have the originals on my computer anymore...

Try holding home + sleep for about 10 seconds.

Do i have to repeat it every single minute!?

    1. Hold the home button and the sleep button until it turns off

    2. Hold the home button, and plug the iPod cable in

    3. keep holding the home button until it goes in recovery mode

    iTunes will ask to restore.

Superman is coming to the rescue!

Please search before posting thank you!

    okokkokkookoo im kidding.

    1. Reset iTouch By Holding Down Home And Power
    2. When Apple Logo Comes Up Release The Power Button
    3. A Wire With A Logo On Top Should Come Up
    4. Connect iTouch To Computer
    5. Open iTunes And It Will Ask You To Restore.

    IF ALL ELSE FAILS:

    1. WAIT FOR YOUR BATTERY TO DIE (as in low battery 0%)
    2.repeat the steps above.

You must restore, you should have backed up.

Just do it. Restore is your only option

Well, there is a way to keep all your files..

Just don't do anything. You're files won't be lost

Of course, if you want an iPod to use, you'll have to restore

Question: If you can't SSH into the iPod to get your files that you didn't back up, can't you use Total Commander instead, since that doesn't need WiFi SSH and only needs the USB plug? I've never used it myself but that's what i've heard, so sorry if i'm wrong.
