Awesome. I sent them a similar letter yesterday, not about the constant restoring, but about their horrible back-up feature. Rather than backing up the changed items, they back up everything, every time. This is the reason it takes at least an hour to sync. Apple can lick my tit.

I can tell there making updates and everything... BUT NOBODIES IPOD SHOULD BE DOING THIS THAT MUCH...

I read the whole thing and I'm extremely sorry about your problems. It seemed fine to me and very understandable.

You're an idiot for wasting over $200 on silly ipod apps that for the most part don't seem to be out of beta phase. If Apple even reads the letter they'll laugh at you and click the Delete button. However if you want to get their attention threaten a lawsuit similar to the ones they faced when the Ipod Nano came out and everyone complained about the screen scratched easily.

Also it probably is a hardware problem because i've kept my iPod in a case ever since i've had it and it has not had a problem AT ALL in 2.0

When people get home and start replying to this thread saying "It's happening to me too," then we can cross "hardware issue" off the list. It's got nothing to do with the hardware at all. I bet 1.1.x runs fine on my iPod.

I went to apple a couple of days ago (Semi-Defective Home Button) and they said most of the issues are from the applications you download.

Soo, it's your $200 worth of Apps that are killin ya!

Do what we do in 1.1.X, and Delete the last app you installed! SWOD solved ;D

And whenever I get the SWOD - iTunes becomes unreactive unless I pull out he USB.

I applaud your efforts, and I hope Apple replies with an educated and thoughtful response.

All those problems, and no jailbreak on which you could blame things...
