Recently, my first-gen iPod touch's screen went completely dead. It's not that it's not responding, it's just blank dead. I can still charge it and connect to iTunes (not sure if I can sync though).
I am not sure as to what to do with it as the warranty has already expired and dead ones don't go for higher than 20-40 bucks for parts on craigslist. Any advice? I wouldn't miss it too much if there is nothing that can be done as I have an iPhone and it has been lying on my desk for weeks now anyway, but it would be good to know if there is something I can do to fix it. Oh and I do live close to an Apple Store if that helps.
