Hey, i was just wondering what apple's policy on dead pixels is. I have a group of them starting to form ever since i upgraded to 2.0, and was wondering if i could go to the apple store and get a new/refurbrished touch because i am looking to sell mine.
    thx -Tyr0

If it's a regular occurance i'm sure they'd replace it. Make something up like you use your ipod alot to view video/photos (which i'm sure you do anyway

yeah, im gonna say(which i think really is why) that the pixels came after i upgraded to 2.0. Then it started getting really hot, and now there is a group of randomly flashing pixels that dont work anymore. Im gonna go this weekend and ill post back then.

They should replace it because it happened because you updated to 2.0, say you watch alot of videos and stuff also

then use the strobe feature. this is supposed to get rid of dead pixels..

yeah do that, and gently rub the screen around the dead pixels. Apparently that helps
