so recently my ipod has just had a line of dead pixels appear.

i bought my ipod touch the week it came out, then got a new one cuz the headphone port on that broke about a month later...

but basically, a small strip at the bottom just appeared recently of dead pixels, its about 2-3 pixels high and about halfway across the screen, would they replace this? and wouldn't it be a manufacturers defect?

I don't see why they couldn't give you a new iPod for dead pixels. As long as you didn't kill them. It's most likely a manufacturer defect(er w/e).

Depends on how long the warranty is.
