Dead IPT 1G?

    hey guys, i have an IPT 1G, and this morning, when i turned it on, i got a pic of steve jobs saying something in russian...anyone know how to fix this?...tried restoring, says this ipod cannot be restored...tried the shift restore, won't work...tried probably everything

    lol isnt this a worm attack or something that deals with ssh??

    I never heard of this worm, but I guess that's possible. Bring it to Apple.

    ^^Im sure i've posted after fluffy like 3 threads in a row lol

    ratsh*t buzz bro...i think its a worm kinda thing to
    do with ssh and people not changing the default password
    (alpine) if it still turns on maybe you could SSH into it
    and remove the worm using that?

    LOL GUYS IT'S NOT A WORM
    It mean's that it's in restore mode. That is the default restore mode image if you pwn it.

    It is a 'restore' or 'booting' screen.

    Turn off the iPod. Turn it back on then hold the home and power button for 10sec, let go of the power button only NOT the home button for 15sec. your computer should recognize it.
