    Hey All
I have just plugged my touch into my PC to recharge and it has gone blank. I can not turn the device on now and when it is connected to the PC it gets very hot. Has anyone else had this problem and how did you resolve it.
Bit concerned here guys, appreciate any help.

Don't connect it to your PC if it gets hot! It's propably a Short circuit. Just send it to Apple.

Although it's extremely rare as they are manufactured to a high safety tolerance level, the batteries can on occasion overheat if the protective circuit in them fails. It may get hot when charging but if it gets too hot then it's a battery issue and the excessive heat may have fried it. RMA it to Apple for repair.

It says his jailbroken in his profile. Won't Apple deny service?

Thanks everyone for your replies,I made the mistake of updating so it is not jailbroken now, Will apple be able too tell that it was previously jailbroken.

Do a restore just incase, this will insure that there isn't anything left on it that would make Apple think it was jailbroken
