My new new touch 2g can't seem to figure out the time and date. Every time I sync it changes. The computer I'm syncing to is correct. When syncing, the correct date may flash, but then changes to the wrong time/date. It seems to be moving around between June and July of 07. Time changes too. Also, I am able to access the web fine via wifi, but anything with a password (email, ebay) gives me network errors. Time and date related? Ideas?

Try Restoring. If that doesn't work then Return/Exchange.

If restoring doesn't work then you have a defective product. Just take it back to the store you purchased of from and either return or exchange it.

I believe this is caused by putting your computer to sleep while itunes is running. Close itunes before sleeping and it should solve this. I had the same problem and since I've started doing this it hasn't reoccurred.

Why? He already stated that his computer's time is correct.

I know what you said. The text is sitting right in front of me.

I don't understand how that could possibly fix his problem which is why I asked, "why?".
