I was wondering if anyone else was having this problem..... Sometimes, not always, when i sync my itouch with itunes it changes the date and time on my itouch to a random date and time not in anyway related to the actual date and time. I was wondering if anybody had anyclues as to why this is. I don't sync often since all the apps for doing the same actions are available, but when i do it is just a pain to keep having to change the date and time. Anybody have any ideas.......

I have had the problem happen to me as well. I think the problem has to do with putting the computer to sleep while iTunes is still open. Usually just closing and opening iTunes and reconnecting the iPod will fix the problem.

having the same sync dramas- ipod clock and date resetting to some random date in the 2004 (!)

tried syncing after restarting iTunes and that doesn't seem to reset the date & time on the touch. strange...
no doubt apple will be hitting us with yet another iTunes update shortly...
