How about porting this to the iphone?

    http://darwine.sourceforge.net/

This means SDK for Windows would be a hell of a lot easier!....i think

    Anyway, take a look

Ok, just a question. Since Windows does not develop for the iPhone what is the point of being able to run Windows apps that don't even exist for the iPhone, on the iPhone.

    Just saying...

well if we can get command line exes to run it will be a big step forward. Then people will be able to modify darwine mini to allow interaction with the iPhone's hardware and create dlls etc for use with windows development

You still haven't learned much about programming and how code works in the grand scheme of things have you?

Darwine is not for the ARM processor, it's only for X86 (and uses an emulator on the PowerPC architecture).

It'd need to emulate the processor, and I don't think the iPod's hardware is up to it.

The reason I'd want Darwine on my iphone is so I can play my old Leisure Suit Larry 7 game on it.

I also have a bunch of other old games that work in WINE (I don't use Windows anymore).
